FCSN Board at a Glance
The Florida Cancer Support Network (FCSN) is a compassionate foundation born in the fall of 2022, driven by six individuals united in their mission to support all Floridians affected by cancer. Together, these dedicated founders form our initial Board of Directors, bringing over 130 years of combined experience in serving the cancer community. Each of them has a personal connection to this challenging journey. Our vision is to become the leading foundation that serves all Floridians impacted by the burdens of cancer.
OUR PURPOSE
Guiding Principals
The Core purpose of the Florida Cancer Support Network is based upon the three tenets of Empowering, Strengthening, and Sustaining. We will help:
Financial Assistance
Provide funding information for support groups, patient navigation, education, and direct financial assistance through local 501 (c)(3) organizations for those patients diagnosed with cancer, their family members, or caregivers.
Advocacy
Advocate for increased private and public funding for identifying the causes, increasing innovative treatment options, ultimately finding a cure for cancer, increasing public awareness of cancer and prevention measures, and empowering all Florida residents to become involved in cancer as a matter of public policy.
Integrity
Perform and transact all business necessary, incidental to, or in any way connected with the Foundation, with honesty, integrity, and transparency.

Meet Our Board
The Florida Cancer Support Network's Board of Directors is an elected group of volunteers whose collective experience, expertise, and passion provide valuable guidance and is responsible for strategically overseeing the operations of the organization. In addition to developing our Strategic Plan and establishing a Marketing Plan for the organization, the Board of Directors is also responsible for program development, fundraising and ensuring the financial viability of the organization.
